My Journey
From an early age, I showed a natural talent for art that blossomed through my teenage years, as I began creating increasingly refined oil paintings. However, the demands of caring for my family took precedence over my artistic pursuits, and it wasn’t until after having a child that I rediscovered my passion. Having always been drawn to the captivating designs and shapes of Hindu deities, I found inspiration in them and began incorporating their imagery into my oil paintings, exploring the themes of nature and spirituality in my work.
While human portraiture was always a challenge for me, I recognized that true growth can only be achieved by stepping out of one’s comfort zone. Embracing this philosophy, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, honing my skills and technique with each portrait I created. Through the process, I discovered the beauty of imperfection, delving into the complexities of the human face and finding joy in the intricacies of each unique subject.
